Chuck > Each year on Labor Day, part of the Mackinac Bridge is closed to traffic and people are allowed to walk across in the Mackinac Bridge Walk, which attracts tens of thousands of people. Here I'm on a ramp approaching the bridge. You can see the long line of cars approaching the bridge, many of which are probably heading towards parking closer to the bridge. I decided it was easier to park a bit further away and walk to the bridge--when I'm already going to be walking five miles across the bridge, what's an extra half mile?
